Mentorship
​
Mentoring is a valuable approach to provide students with emotional and instrumental support they need to achieve their personal, academic and professional goals. College mentors can have a life-changing effect on a student’s life and career by empowering them with the guidance, confidence and skills necessary to succeed. Our Institution assigns one Teacher Mentor to every group of 25 students to mentor them on a regular basis. Every mentor maintains a register of all her mentees and records all curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements of the mentees and accordingly guides. A professional counsellor conducts on-campus counselling sessions at regular intervals for those seeking professional help.
Objectives:

To help mentees to feel more connected and engaged on campus.

To assist mentees in determining their academic aspirations and work with fellow students to achieve them.

To guide them for their emotional and personal well-being.
Scholarships
The scholarship schemes initiated by the State Government to financially aid the students with potential belonging to under privileged, needy and physically challenged groups are also extended by the College to ensure increased access to education for such candidates. Awards
The College organizes annually a Prize giving ceremony to celebrate the efforts made and achievements gained by the students during the academic year. They are recognized and rewarded for outstanding academic achievements as well as the commitment they have put into co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Merit Awards
At the end of every Academic Year learners are conferred with Merit awards for their Academic Excellence and overall performance. Moreover, we have many club activities for which students are felicitated for their performance.
Annite Star Awards
Each Year the outgoing Batch of U.G and P.G Students get awarded as “Annite Star” for their accomplishment in their curricular and extra-curricular activities. This year 20 students were presented with “Annite Star” Awards
Annite Stellae Awards
The competitions for the Alumni are held during the Alumni meet “Annite Stellae -2018”. Best performers were bestowed with “Annite Stellae” awards
Additional Awards
Apart from the above mentioned accolades the College makes it a point to honour the achievers during the Intra and Inter College Events and workshops every year.
